It's true. Even though I may not have a lot to teach other people, this would be among the lessons I would share with my closest friends and family. Be yourself when I pains you to do so. The challenge alone teaches us to be brave, to be powerful in the midst of embarrassment.

If we only saw how many times the people we idolize fail and struggle, we would see that people are just people. We are imperfect. We are mortal. All of us. And we won't live forever, so it's important to do what makes us happy.

Did you know that the biggest regret of the dying is that they lived their life for other people instead of themselves? (Citation: http://www.inspirationandchai.com/Regrets-of-the-Dying.html).

That means that most of us are scared out of our minds to be ourselves. It's an unfortunate paradox. Life is about taking risks. That's how we adapt and survice. Really, if you think about it, if we don't challenge the perceptions we have of ourselves, we're choosing not to adapt as humans.

Sheesh. Anyway, thanks for the article.

Good question, Penny--

Here's what I think: whatever we see and experience is our reality. What Is is both what we've got and what we want. The problem arises in our resistance to what is because that keeps our attention on what we may not want. So, if we allow What Is to just be What Is AND put our manifesting attention on what we want that moves us in a new direction. Resistance and struggling against something often keeps us stuck there.

the question that always comes up 4 me is...where do accepting even what we don't like...and manifesting what we would like meet?
does manifesting new and different things in our lives mean we are rejecting reality...?
which is the real question...what is the nature of reality?...

hi...funny as this article is exactly about the things that we just don't get yet...as you talked about the colors...something within me understands but not fully...the head gets the idea..but it hasn't landed within me just yet...how to work with the colors to see if all of ourselves are present when we are approaching a project, or engaging in some interaction. i immediately thought of visualizing myself working in different professions, and tryng to gauge if i see myself, and all the color aspects present...we've been thinking with our minds for so long...we are not so used to working the other abundant muscles and tools we have for expression and information gathering. i am always looking for exercises to expand my intuition , my experience...thank you for your website...love and light from israel...-penny
